Dr. Hemstock<\/a>, he started building those connections by getting involved. He began attending Life Enrichment programs, spending time at Bingo, joining in on crafts, and getting to know the people around him. The more he took part, the more familiar the faces became.<\/p>\n\n\n\nOne moment stands out to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He remembers when Shannon from Life Enrichment gave him a hug for the first time. It was a small gesture, but it stayed with him. It was the moment he felt like he truly belonged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since then, that sense of connection has only grown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
