Dennis – Resident
At first I was not convinced that it was becoming necessary for some changes or what to expect, but it did not take long to feel at home and to know I needed more contact with other people. The staff here truly cares and the friendships I have built with new and some old acquaintances, have all made a great difference.
To date I have been able to identify and name thirty five residents. All of these new friends have made a huge difference to my life, going forward. I still have independence but do not have to worry about the day to day challenges of living, like paying the bills, repairs and general upkeep of body and home.
What I now find is the peace of mind knowing that help is immediately available, if I were to need it, but I can still enjoy my days on my own terms. Also my family visits daily or weekly and are always impressed with my new surroundings both residence and the meals, which really beyond belief for quality and variation daily.
My new home is not just building but it is a community that I am grateful to be part of it.
