My Dance to Palermo
“Not again… you’re not moving again!”
These words echoed from friends and even my adult children as I danced through different addresses—Hamilton, teaching Landmark to the Diplomats on Lakeshore Road in Burlington, then somewhere on the outskirts between Burlington and Oakville. So many moves that I sometimes lost sight of where I truly was. Along the way came countless moving companies, trucks, and vans.
But in 2021, something stirred in me—perhaps the good Lord’s hand?—and I landed at 3136 Dundas St. W in Oakville.
Ah! My daughter and her family were just around the corner on Valley Ridge Road. Another divine nudge? A whisper of, “This is where you belong.”
All was confirmed upon meeting the team at Palermo. In that moment, I felt something powerful—an instant emotion of belonging.
And so, here I am… a resident of Palermo, basking in the joy and happiness that fills this heavenly home.
