Our very first Golden Moment was a special outing with resident Gerry, who was treated to lunch at The Prescott, a place filled with cherished memories. Gerry shared that he grew up frequenting the pub and had many fond memories of enjoying their famous meatball sandwich over the years.
During our visit, Gerry was delighted to once again enjoy his favorite meal while reminiscing about the good old days. The experience was made even more memorable by the kindness and generosity of The Prescott staff. After learning about Gerry’s connection to the restaurant and the purpose of our Golden Moments program, they were touched by the gesture and graciously covered the cost of his lunch.
The smile on Gerry’s face and the stories he shared throughout the afternoon reminded us how meaningful these experiences can be. We are incredibly grateful to The Prescott for helping make our first Golden Moment such a success and for creating a truly unforgettable day for Gerry.
