A Day of Community, Connection & Championship Softball!
Recently, Roy D. enjoyed a special outing to the Under-20 Canadian Fast Pitch Championships in Carp. A former athlete, teacher, farmer, and well-known community member, Roy spent the day reconnecting with friends, neighbours, and former teammates who were thrilled to see him.
From sharing stories over a famous Huntley Burger to cheering on the hometown Carp team to a dramatic seventh-inning victory, the day was filled with laughter, memories, and meaningful connections.
Moments like these remind us that community, belonging, and shared experiences can create lasting joy, no matter what challenges a person may face.
