When a loved one is living with memory loss, the journey forward can feel uncertain. At Verve Senior Living, we understand that families are looking for more than just a safe place, they’re looking for a residence where their loved one will be seen, heard, and valued.
That’s why our Memory Care is designed around one powerful idea:
“We don’t try to pull them into our reality—we step into theirs.”
– Sheri Brown, Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, Western Canada
More Than Safety, A Life of Purpose
At Verve, Memory Care isn’t just clinical, it’s personal. Yes, our residences are secure and professionally staffed 24/7. But more than that, they’re places where joy, connection, and dignity are part of daily life.
We design every element—daily routines, physical environments, and everyday interactions—with intention and compassion. Each touchpoint is carefully considered to foster familiarity, reduce anxiety, and encourage confidence. How the day begins, how a space is lit, or a quiet moment shared with a team member. Every detail plays a role in helping residents feel truly at home, at ease, and in control.
Personalized Programming That Sparks Joy
Our Life Enrichment teams create flexible, engaging activities based on what makes each resident feel empowered and successful.
“It’s not about keeping them busy—it’s about what brings them joy.”
— Stephanie Barnes, Life Enrichment Manager, Carp Commons Retirement Village
Programs such as music and art therapy, to sensory experiences, conversation circles, and movement, are tailored to how residents feel in the moment. No two days are the same, because no two people are.
A Thoughtfully Designed Environment
Our Memory Care spaces are built with intention:
- Circular layouts that reduce confusion and support freedom of movement
- Memory boxes and personal touches to spark recognition
- Calming colours, natural light, and soft finishes that create a warm, home-like atmosphere
Every detail is designed to help residents feel secure, comfortable, and confident in their surroundings.
Families Are Part of the Circle
Memory loss doesn’t just affect one person, it impacts the whole family. We honour that truth by involving families every step of the way.
“It’s not just about the resident, it’s a circle of care that includes their family.”
— Ruth Langdon, Regional Director of Wellness, Western Canada
From regular updates and care planning meetings to guidance and emotional support, we make sure families are informed, welcomed, and never alone in this journey.
Care That Comes From the Heart
At the core of our Memory Care model is a team that cares deeply, and it shows. Our team members are continuously trained in dementia-informed approaches and supported by leaders who value their voices.
“When I bring an idea forward, I’m always heard.”
— Denise Kato, National Director of Wellness
It’s that culture of listening, learning, and compassion that creates a truly enriching environment, for residents and families alike.

Experience the Verve Difference
Memory loss changes some things, but it doesn’t change what matters most: the right to feel safe, respected, and connected. At Verve, we honour every person’s journey with care that’s as personal as it is professional.
Because every memory matters—even the ones we help create today.
